I am Tiina Mäntylä, the founder and designer of Tila. I founded my company out of a passion for creating timeless and restful homes in the heart of the Costa del Sol.
For me, interior design means aesthetic comfort, functional solutions, and a cozy atmosphere. Above all, it means an opportunity for individuality and creativity. Natural, high-quality materials, textures, light, and the functionality of spaces are a very important part of my design process.
I combine Nordic clarity and practicality with Spanish light and atmosphere. My goal is for a home to serve everyday life, stand the test of time, and feel good every day – even years later.
Inspiration from people
I approach my work with passion. I am inspired daily by the people I meet. In interior design projects, the best ideas for a home are born from the client's wishes and dreams. It is easy to build a space that reflects the client on that foundation.

It is easy to come to a finished home
A home is built from even the smallest things: paintings hung at the right height, beautifully draping curtains, and lighting that creates the desired atmosphere in the space. In the finishing phase, I ensure that the whole works on-site and every detail finds its place.
Depending on the scope of the agreed service, I will arrange the furniture, textiles, and interior items so that the home is ready to welcome you. We will go through the final result together and agree on any finishing touches needed.
Communication does not end with the handover of keys. I am also available after the project if any solution in the home or purchased product raises questions.
A successful home is the result of teamwork, and through me, you gain access to a network of experts who know the Spanish market. Tila Design partners with local carpenters, material suppliers, and contractors whose reliability and quality of work have been tested in practice.
